Illuvium is an open-world exploration, monster collector and autobattler game built on the Ethereum Blockchain, releasing on PC and Mac in 2022. Our work on the trailer can be seen from 53 seconds in onwards. It was a pleasure to work with the Illuvium team and help bring their first AAA cinematic trailer to life

Like all the content created by Shape Shifters, our work on the Illuvium trailer was 100% rendered in Unreal Engine 5

Our mission at Shape Shifters is to create visually compelling, high-fidelity content efficiently and quickly by embracing advances in real-time technology, whether its on our own IP or our clients. The Illuvium trailer had quite a tight turnaround, so we worked very closely with their internal team to up-res game assets to cinematic quality and to craft a cinematic story that fit within their world and lore


We utilized UE5 and Metahuman to bring the trailer and the main character, Arlen, to life.
